welcome to the club (and yeah I know you were always a member) the Bush tax cuts worked
I didn't believe they would....they did to some degree....that's a fact.
Imo, they didn't go far enough reducing taxes on those making less than $250k and the lower categories
lowering these tax rates would give a boost, imo to the economy but it would be short lived without some serious deregulation of small businesses
just one example: public accountants they're now forced to jump through hoops and shell out $ just because of Enron
when the real problem there was the BIG accounting firms..... they're the ones that needed ethics training small offices didn't need it... sure there were a few bad apples well guess what....the nonsense rules didn't get rid of them there's more of them than ever
and all it did was strap more aggravation and expense on the super majority of decent ones
