You have to understand whats going on here. The company is trying to raise cash thru VC funding.
As the deal becomes fact the insiders pull the price down to where funding shares will be issued.
When management feels deal is a sure thing, they accumulate, prepairing for the bought run. (They want to do what the big guys are doing)
When you see buying stop, the deal is about done.
When you see the price & volume double, the deal is complete and insiders pop it to get retail attention.
Shortly after: VCs get their shares from the company and they buy the run. To sell their investment shares for an instant LARGE ROI, to the retail herd, drawn in by the double !!!
In a single zero stock big guys want 1 million shares average daily volumes, 10 mill for double zero and 100 mill for triple zero. With out this retail herd base around, the bought run will wait and some more PR work will be needed.
One of the OTC games played. All others involve VCs & large amounts of shares held low. But PR story timing and bought run results may vary depending on the darkside business plans. If you hear about funding before the move and don't see 3 volume spikes, It may be a Temp Job streached over 3 months. If the plan is to repeat the game you should see warrants involved. There are many variations. to the game.
