Redpony, I think you are seriously misinformed by a clerk or someone who does not know what they are talking about.

After reading your post, I just called the TA to get a share count and nothing has changed since Catherine retired her shares.
Tthe woman said being DWAC or FAST eligible with DTC is different that being DTC eligible. She said NO un-reporting or delinquent filers are DWAC or FAST. This means they can not just electronically deposit shares using the FAST system into ones account. But evidently DTC clearing with Matrixx is just fine.

So your clerk at Zecco needs to know the difference between certain DTC capabilities and clearing services. Best thing to do is be careful of specific information, and realize the source. I wonder if the source was even Series 7 and 63 or just a admin. assistant straight out of high-school.
