Thank Keith. I remembered it from last month and
tracked it down on his posting list.

I actually think 5.7% is quite respectable for Opteron, but it's far from the fantasies that the 'Droids conjure up.

Yes, it is much better than Athlon MP ever achieved
but to be truthful I thought AMD had a good chance
of hitting 10%. The way Intel ramped up Nocona was
unbelievable. The dualie Opteron should give AMD a
second wind but last year's sobering lesson seems to
have gone in one ear and out the other of most AMD
boosters.
