#98 RE: Montanore #96

Just trying to be of help to see you make your board a success, seeing how gold is certainly still in a long term uptrend due to the onerous global debt loads in Japan, Britain, the Eurozone and the USA; as well as our domestic unfunded liabilities.

If Stockcharts.com hadn't started truncating their free charts I could be of help, as those were the only setups I had at hand. But maybe someone else can wade in and give you assistance from chart setups they have that don't rely on Stockcharts.

Glad to hear it, Montanore. Also, I see their JV partner, Scorpio Gold (SGN.V/SRCRF), as a sure winner. I was lucky enough to meet their CEO, Peter Hawley, at the Mineral Ridge mine tour they put on in June. I rode a bus that day for 9 hours up and back from Vegas, but boy was it worth it.

This guy Hawley is what some call grizzled. I would describe him as someone who just delivers on each and every promise he makes. He developed and put into production a silver mine in Mexico as CEO of Scorpio Mining, when many said no way it could be done. Now the spin off Scorpio Gold is doing the very same, restarting a gold mine with 4 or 5 past failures. The previous operator was getting 13% recoveries from the leach pad operation. Just by grinding up the ore to a sufficient size, Scorpio is looking at 65% recoveries, and they have already started permitting for a mill operation to capture the rest. Just a total quality operation in every regard, is what I witnessed 1st hand.

It is simply unheard of to restart this gold mine in 13 months.

These guys are serious, and looking to produce over 100,000 ounces of gold per year by 2012.

You can take a look at a review of the mine tour here:
