It looks like Harry Potter and Captain America also ate into the box office this weekend, as those movies get older people will make their way over to Cowboys and Aliens. It's been quite a full summer of movies, many people are still trying to play catch up with the ones they haven't seen yet. It's good that Cowboys and Aliens is the last of the summer blockbusters, that will give the movie more chance to breathe on it's own and last longer at the box office.IMO
