While I dont think a sale will happen for a bit. But a fund like York probably wants to substantially increase the value of its holdings in Flotation and DPDW and then be able to liquidate both holdings and move on to the next distressed style transaction. With their leverage DPDW should be well rewarded for any type of transaction.
It seems to me that if Flotation can build a good name for itself, a major company like an SLB of WFT could really ramp up Flotation sales. I will be interested to see what the current backlog at Flotation is. Also, the insiders have so many shares in DPDW that at some point that must want to monetize it through either sales or dividends.
Depending on how efficient they are at building these carousels, they could build 3-5 a year for rev of 12-20 million annually. Not sure what the upside to the DPDW core outside of that is if there is full ROV utilization. Hopefully they lock down more of those gigs that that did for Vaalco in Q4-Q1.
