Everyone that has been dragged into these potential buy out dreams is still underwater and some still get sucked in by rumors...same as before. I guess it is hard to change damaging mindset habits.
I think ERHC is trying to build value for shareholders and if an good offer does arise some day then maybe they would sell...but anyone who thinks this will happen anytime soon is just kidding themselves.
If you look at most buyouts...they are after a company (like Addax) has a significant amount of proven reserves...not rumors on a message board. This takes a long time. Shareholders of a company doing a buyout will not accept shelling out a large amount of money for 'only biogenic gas'. That is what they will look at...not a few message board posters who think that commercial oil was found.
Everyone can think what they want but as Seek implies...it will take more than rumors and unsubtiantiated speculation to move the sp.
