Good news! I was on I-95 for about 2.5hrs yesterday and came across part of Repub Leader Rush Limbaugh's radio program...he was railing against Obama - what else is new? - for suggesting auto mfgrs raise fuel standards...of course Rush never mentioned the auto mfgrs agreed with Obama. Callers into Rush's program are truly scary, but I suspect they are just acting - nobody could be that stupid!

i don't understand, john, aren't they supposed to create their markets? Way back, whenever,
when the Japanese had a bit of foresight and came out the more fuel efficient cars, your,
yeah pr's didn't .. they lost market share and what have they learned from it .. why
the frigging hell can't they give the consumer what they want .. i thought that's what
it was all about .. or maybe the consumer in america and here too, a bit is still into big cars .. is that it?
