b4atf 30 miles away or so another company is going to start in 2013 a large open pit mine for gold that averages 3 grams per ton.

SGC is thinking too small. Too expensive, no roads, etc
Pampana North has the MOTHERLOAD veins with far more than 3 grams per ton.

40 miles away or so another company has started a large open pit operation to mine perhaps the 3rd largest iron deposit in the world.

I guess we really need to confirm with John and Doug the existance of the mining consessions or rights to mine on the Pampana. According to this post there is nothing recorded showing SGCP having anything there:

Sorry if I have said something wrong.

I am unable to find any record in the Ministry of Mines (SL),The Land Registry (SL) Goelogical Surveys (SL) and on any documents that are available to the public that show ALL mining Licences and Concession holders in Sierra leone that relate to SGCP on the PAMPANA. Sierra Leone has a transparant mining policy and all information on the above is readily available.

I just wondered if it was a JV?

Thanks

just like what SGCP puts out.
