Keep in mind that from several perspectives, Intel has yet to demonstrate a working 90nm process.
Intel's current 90nm process can't be used to produce a 64-bit mobile chip, and for desktop chips it only works by leaking power like a sieve - CPUs built on Intel's 90nm process are like engines that come from the factory with blown head gaskets and trail clouds of smoke as they travel down the road: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/pentiumd-820_3.html
Even Intel's future 65nm process won't initially be adequate to build a 64-bit chip that is good enough for a compact size (25watt power envelope) notebook. They hope to improve their process over time to the point where it can compete with what AMD was shipping 12 to 18 months earlier.
