A friend of mine once bought a Wellcraft Scarab with three 200HP Mariner outboards on it that were made by Mercury.
Somewhere around $50K in motors at the time, I think.
Anyway, the motors were a problem from the get go.
He took an ad out in the local paper and said something like:
Mariner outboard motors suck and Mercury is not standing behind them. Avoid them. Call me for details, and included his name and phone number.
I'm not talking about a small ad, but a good sized one.
It wasn't long before he had three brand new 200HP Mercury outboards on the back of his Scarab.
With your computer savvy and audience on the internet I would think you could have Honda begging you for a quick settlement.
Maybe like ads on the homepages of SI and IHUB with the Honda logo and a brief description of your problems?
