The TNX has one of the most impressive hammers I've seen on it in, well, forever. Daily chart:

I still can't figure out why the TNX stopped where it did today at 38.03. The only thing I can think of is the gap fill at 43.50 is about at the 50% re-trace from the 49.04 highs and the 38.03 lows on the weekly:

Maybe this ends up with a move to fill the gap at 43.50 followed by a brother leg down to fill the gap at 34?

43.50 is also the .618 re-trace level from 46.93 to 38.03. It appears there was a reason to bounce at 38.03 on the TNX!
