The FAA shutdown is going to cost a lot more because every halted construction contractor is now due change orders for delay.

but almost a hundred thousand jobs are already gone. And $200 million in tax revenue is lost each week it continues.

It was the Republicans who shut down the FAA. As a result, 4,000 FAA workers have been laid off and about 90,000 construction workers are being laid off right now. (Only air traffic control operations were spared.) I wrote about this last week, in the post The Hostage-Taking Just Keeps Coming - This Time The FAA Shuts Down, .. http://ourfuture.org/blog-entry/2011072922/hostage-taking-just-keeps-coming-time-faa ..

Yes and that 200 million a week is going right into the pockets of the airlines ....o.k. PEOPLE LOST JOBS, LESS REVENUE coming into Uncle Sam in two ways & spending LOST in states, state taxes, BUSINESS loses customers and the laid off employees start keeping their money in their pockets due to FEAR of the teabags ..ALL THIS, happening to the workers .. while the airlines lace their pockets with the excess cash .. sweet sweet deal ... ! Once again ..the people and the gov. lose and the Corp wins .. I'm getting sick of this !
