my sister works at Saks and Easter is coming up, one of the biggest seasons in retail. There is no business, nobody is shopping for their Easter bonnets.
Don't get me wrong Victoria, I do think the economy is in a very rough patch, particulary from the great wealth loss. In that sense, most folks are tightening their belts, and likely spending less $$ at high end retailers like Sak's. On the other hand, when interest rates are going down, it does bode well for some other sectors that benefit from building out in low interest rate environments. At present, I'm focusing more on the heavy construction sector, particularly in regard to building power plants.
