You get one chance to make a first impression...The first impression many voters got of John Boehner as a leader was from his nat'l TV speech to the nation on Monday announcing the House plan to reduce the nation's deficit, a plan Boehner said the House would vote on the next day, Tuesday. Boehner failed the test of being a leader...The plan Boehner presented to the nation on nat'l TV was rejected by the CBO because it did not contain savings as advertised. Because Boehner's plan was rejected by the CBO, the House vote scheduled for today was postphoned to tomorrow.
