He is a class act, and has tremendous talent. I gained a tremendous amount of respect for him in this series. However, he does not yet understand thet there are 5 men on the court, and he can't play defense at near the level TD can. TD was always double teamed and often triple teamed. He is the consumate team player, always there on D, always around the offensive boards, and exceptional at kicking it out to the open man, something he learned from Robinson, how to kick out quickly when one of the guards or Bowen is open in their spot after the double team. TD rarely puts up 40 pts a game, and if you take note of the spurs approach to the series, it was let amare score at will but shut down the rest of the team.
In a few years he may be another MJ. But for now, Duncan is the best team big man in the game, IMO, and that's why the Spurs will win their 3rd championship in 6 years. He is also just about the classiest guy in the NBA.
