“Yuhe’s main production facilities are located in the Weifang city of Shandong Province, approximately 146 km west to the Qingdao city. Shandong's temperate climate with ample rainfall has made it one of the largest grain producing regions in China. As grain used for feed is a key prerequisite to raise livestock, Shandong province provides a fertile environment for animal husbandry. Yuhe plans to leverage on this key geographic advantage to continue its growth well into the future.
Yuhe currently has 43 separate breeding farm sites, where 15 were self-constructed, and 28 were acquired through three accretive acquisitions. All of the breeder farms are seperated with approximately five kilometers distance from each other. All breeding facilities have controlled and filtered air and water supplies to eliminate contact with outside animals and feature advanced imported equipment such as Big Dutchman plate-feeding systems and lubing nipple drinking systems from Germany, a centralized temperature control system from the U.S and an intelligent alley incubation system from Japan. The Company also maintains tight control over temperature and humidity conditions, ensuring optimal hatching conditions and the highest possible standards for its product quality.”
