Not at all. Best thing is a Community College at first. The Professors are actual Field experienced professionals. They teach what they actual worked at for a living. Not like the expensive schools where undergraduates without a clue teach the classes.
Also class sizes in Community College are much much smaller which means Professors can spend more time per student individually with explanations. Try to find that in the big bucks schools in a classroom of 200 sitting in what looks like an auditorium.
Finally Community College is a fraction of $ compared to the popular universities. Save the money and put it towards a first home.
Now remember with business, medicine, etc. They will need specialized training as well. Places like Hillsdale College is prime. It does not indoctrinate an agenda or social engineer like the other universities. http://www.hillsdale.edu/
But keep in mind a TRADE can be much more lucrative than an IVY league degree....
Your choice
p.s. my brother-in-law is considering opening a new college with a partner that teaches genuine education with a Christian foundation. Knowledge in specific career choices needed to be successful with common sense, logic, and understanding Liberty added. I hope he succeeds.
