reported Q2 revenue in line with expectations and a penny better than expected on the bottom line.

Revenue in the three months ended in June totaled $1.57 billion, yielding 9 cents per share.

Analysts on average were modeling $1.58 billion and 8 cents per share.

AMD shares are up 23 cents, or 3.5%, at $6.73 in late trading.
