Well, this is from the Pratt & Whitney Site......the project has been in an even longer time in the making in the company's portfolio of equipment.

Then again, they feel this is groundbreaking technology that they intend to market throughout the whole world.

And make a lot of money. They want and need to get it right.

Looks like they are almost there now.
