News reports say about 28,000 in the US. The conviction meant Andersen could no longer audit publicly traded companies. Almost all of their publicly traded clients left when the indictment was released causing a huge part of their business to implode.

Isn't that always the way? A few bad apples end up hurting many innocent folks.
