Why would "they" want a low price? The $2.75 million is already more than 3 times the market cap. If "they" get equity, they'll have to get more than 100% of the company. If "they" drive it down sub-penny, that will make the market cap even lower. Doesn't seem like a smart move to me.
Does however explain why I think $2.75 million as a loan, or equity or anything other than a death spiral (and even then, it would have to be less than $2.75 million), is unlikely.
