CEWEP (Confederation of European Waste-to-Energy Plants) represents about 363 Waste-to-Energy Plants across Europe. CEWEP is the European umbrella association of Waste-to-Energy Plants

I have yet to get a direct answer to any question, so I'll give it 1 more shot.

Q; Does the confederation cover or have knowledge of all plants planned or under construction within Europe ?

here's an interesting fact when you go to the CEWEP website.

POLAND IS NOT A MEMBER NATION !!!!

so i guess the info cewep has on poland is sketchy at best
which is why the lady from CEWEP had to look up the info on the internet ---- DID ANYONE BESIDES ME THINK THAT WAS A LITTLE QUIRKY --- that the person in charge of CEWEP did not have the info on polish WTE plants at her finger tips ????????????

so i'll state the obvious again. cewep knows little about what is happening inside poland re: wte projects at the planning level.

they are aware that there is one completed plant, and 4 past the planning stages --- but not completed. BUT THESE 4 PLANTS ARE BEING BUILT UNDER AN EU/POLAND PARTNERSHIP. IPWG is not being subsidized by the EU --- and therefore, the lady from CEWEP would have no info on the radom project --- since it has nothing to do with the EU + it is still in the planning stages.

and i'll state the facts relative to ipwg --- many have asked why would poland want ipwg to build a wte plant? answer: they're not knocking down doors rushing in to build wte plants in poland. only 4 of a needed 12 have reached the post-planning stages. many have asked why haven't the polish govt. ended the deal due to the delays? answer: same answer --- no one is rushing in to take this project over. they can't get companies to build wte plants in poland with EU subsidies. how are they going to get a company to take over this project without the subsidies?
