Burk, if I can butt in here, it is my humble opinion that by summer 2006 it will be obvious we are not in a secular bear and never were in one. We did indeed have a speculation bubble in hyper growth tech stocks similar to ones when the railroads were built or more recently when the autombile manufacturers were the thing in the early 20's. There was a terrible crash in the early 20's, and before this is over many folks will be comparing the early 20's to the early 00's...and not just me and 5 other guys;>)

The meltdown scenario that so many on ihub long for; the one that makes them drool; that gets them so excited that they can't sleep: visions of starving millions, war, pestilence, and rioting in the streets dancing in their heads; well they may have to endure the unthinkable first.
