Over 500 million shares have traded since mid-May. Only short selling can account for most of that, and flippers for some of it. The increase in outstanding shares is minor in comparison, and you must realize that most of those were not sold. It is even possible that some of them are tied into acquisitions or even the sale of the company. Either way, they are not what account for 500 million shares. Only shorts can make up the bulk of that. This means the shorts are more desperate than ever.
