<<Did you know about this or are you psychic? >> intuitive that's all. The nuclear ploy is the number one tactic they are using these days. It is a pattern.
Boy that Mackinnon is something else, wonder if he is getting paid by Bush Machine to write that--whew!.
Here is another scary example of the relentless march of destroying freedom of speech in america.
MTV slams down the BigBrother will decide what can and can not be said hammer on the heads of NIN.
<< Nine Inch Nails, MTV at Odds on Bush Photo

Sat May 28, 9:54 PM ET

Nine Inch Nails dropped out of the MTV Movie Awards after clashing with the network over an image of President Bush the band planned as a performance backdrop.

The Bush image was to accompany the song "The Hand That Feeds," which obliquely criticizes the Iraq war. It includes the lyrics: "What if this whole crusade's a charade / And behind it all there's a price to be paid / For the blood on which we dine / Justified in the name of the holy and the divine."

MTV said in a statement to its news division that the network was disappointed the industrial rock band would not perform but had been "uncomfortable with their performance being built around a partisan political statement." (edit:what a crock; it is blatant, 'we are AFRAID,GUTLESS LITTLE AMERICAN MEDIA PUKES, we are but a part the jello that makes up the American Media Backbone, we are only practicing the freedom to be cowardly worthless little people, this is are right.'---welles)

The Foo Fighters will perform in place of the Trent Reznor-led band at the awards being taped June 4 in Los Angeles.

Reznor said in a statement posted on the band's Web site Thursday that the image of the president would have been unaltered and "straightforward."

"Apparently, the image of our president is as offensive to MTV as it is to me," he said.

Nine Inch Nails' fourth studio album and first in six years, "With Teeth," debuted this month at No. 1 in sales.

One of the first things I thought of when I read about Cuba having Onyx missiles was the possibility that Moscow might again to arm Cuba with Nukes. I dismissed the idea pretty quickly. I am sure we have many land based missiles that would sink any ship carrying a nuclear missile to Cuba making the Onyx irrelevant in this particular scenario. I would imagine the U.S. missiles would be so close they would be hard to stop. Venezuela however would be a lot harder for the U.S. to stop from receiving missiles. Those MIG's armed with Onyx missiles have a much greater range than the Onyx alone. Land based U.S. missile attack would be easier to defend. The international political implications of hitting Venezuela would be much, much greater than hitting Cuba IMO.

NOW with these "Chavez wants nukes comments" Venzuela is the newest member of the Axis of evil. It will probably entice Chavez and Moscow think it will be better to put nukes in Venezuela. Iraq was weak and had no WMD. We attack. N. Korea gives us the finger and says we are months away from having a Nuke. We look the other way. Pretty clear signal. If the "Chavez wants nukes" rhetoric continues I figure that is exactly what will happen. The speed at which this is picking up is mind numbing.

What does Russia have in the way of a nuclear submarine fleet? With the Cubans and Chavez having the Onyx missiles I would imagine Russian Nuclear subs in the Caribbean take on a whole new military meaning.
