BBF, you said a "max or 25% by 2025". I believe that was actually a minimum of 25% by 2025. I imagine that the point of the law was to get at least 25% produced by "green" producers.

That being said, this whole suit that the IPP(s) is(are) planning on filing to the supreme court is annoying. The poorly written law mandates the renewable energy standard by 2025. The IPPs have contended that since it doesn't discuss beyond 2025 that none would be required beyond that date. Why would private industry build or convert plants to renewable energy over the next 3-5 years only to need to have it converted back after 2025. No, it wouldn't need to be converted back, but at the cost to produce renewable energy, it would be expensive energy without the government subsidies, so it wouldn't be used.
