I am in total agreement with your last paragraph Phrozt. But, do not forget we can't sell lith yet with the current laws...and that being said it is the other minerals we could concentrate on while loading stockpiles of lith. For instance the potash prices are going up ALOT and not likely to go down soon. I feel we can use this income to proceed to greater things lithium when and not if it happens. GLTA MMTE LONGGGS

Yeah most electric cars dont have power but your forgetting about the big player in the electric car industry. TESLA. Both their roadster and model S will compare with the big boys. Once they take off all the others will be shortly following suit. But 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and a battery that last 300 miles sounds like a front runner in electric cars to me. The leaf and volt just dont compare at all right now. Mercedes and BMW are both working on electric cars. And Tesla has already teamed up with the worlds largest car manufacturer, Toyota. Its only a matter of time.

I too agree with your last paragraph and other parts. I drive a Hybrid Prius and get 40 to 50 mpg, pending on where I am driving. I will keep my Prius for a long time.

I hope to see a car in the future that runs on Lithium and gets at least 350 + miles per charge and then can get a quick charge (10 to 20 minutes) to continue driving another 350 + miles per charge. Other wise, I will not purchase an all electric car that is good only around town for 13/25 miles of battery use. But that is just me and what I feel.
