The dems have said all along that it needs to be fair. The last time this happened was with Clinton in 93 and he agreed to 50% revenue increases and 50 spending cuts.

So let's stop this false equivalency of saying one side is the same as the other.

WTF?

it was the asshole repugnants who took their selfish little marbles and walked away saying "absolutely NO tax cuts on the wealthy" no matter how much spending cuts the Dems agree to

so WTF are you talking about? "oh they're all the same"... bullshit alert... whoop whoop... my BS alert meter just went off, lol

That is true, but the problem Obama has is convincing his own party to adopt his plan.

I won't accept anymore cuts. That's not about politics. It's about survival, not of my party... of real human beings, people who are malnourished, unhoused and uncared for in a society that provides no opportunities for them to care for themselves.

You're talking about this as somehow on a par with refusal to put a surtax on a million or billion dollars income? Unwillingness to give up taxbreaks for corporate jets? Subsidies for oil companies who gouge us out of 10s of billions each quarter?

This is what you're equating? Are you fucking serious?
