I just been looking at Blackboard which I believe would be a competitor to eLearning connects and I believe what the University of Phoenix uses (per a friend of mine who works for the University of Colorado). According to the friend of mine (and I have e-Mailed Dr England to ask him about this), the Blackboard application has limited functionality when compared to CTU's Virtual Campus (which is privately owned by the CTU) and eLearning connects (which I understand is comparable).
Blackboard (NASD.BBBB) has a $1.3b market cap with 1st qtr revs for 2011 of $118.8m. If eLearning can ever pick up a small portion of that market the revenues could be huge.
