The other 50% is in PMPIX and ENPIX. I have buy signals on both and have held them for a few days now. In the green now on both of those and they are acting like a hedge to the short funds USPIX and URPIX.
Last year I used a 5 min chart with standard BB and daytraded Q's and SMH. Paid close to $5000 in coms to TD Waterhouse. Well I accidently violated a SEC NYSE rule regarding daytrading and paid the price. Now I have the label 'Pattern Day Trader' on my SS #.
Because my account is below 25K, and I'm not that familiar with options or forex, the only trading vehicle left is mutual funds. I'm using ProFunds since they offer both long and short funds. Also no coms. So there you have it, I'm trying to 'trade for a living' AND get my account back above the 25K mark so I can go back to normal trading.
