My calcs:

Seeing as we don't know what type of servers these are, I personally believe the $50-100k per figure may be a bit high, but I will run with the lower end of the figures.

500 servers x $50,000 original cost = $25,000,000

35% resale value x $25,000,000 = $8,750,000

Costs involved estimated at $1,000,000

Net = $7,750,000 minus purchase price of used servers

Not too shabby. I think we are going to see A LOT MORE of this after the Q drop is formally finalized.

KruseCom is not RESELLING the servers.

The PR, while cute and crafty, clearly states they are not doing the marketing and resale of the servers. Not part of the deal. They detail this when it is part of their contract.
