Not an oversimplification at all. I agree with all that you've said - the market is a mechanism, and will always gravitate to the norm.
Don't get me wrong; the fast buck will always be there but will require more work to find.
Exactly! I had a song going through my head while walking, with a slight alteration:

drove my chevy to the levee

and good 'ol boys were drinking whiskey and rye,
the day ...momentum died...
This is the main reason I'm finally willing to position some $ in a long term port, something I've been unwilling to do for nearly two years. I'll continue to look for those "donna stocks." :)
