Protection from what? They have canoes and know how to use them. We are so dependent upon them for our oil that they help protect US from the mideast neandertal OPEC group. Do you know who exports more oil than anyone else to us?

The Canadians rely on us for protection and anybody with money has major surgeries in the USA.

Where do you come up with this stuff? Canadians are very happy with their health care system and receive far better outcomes for far less money.

If they wanted to be like us, why don't they just switch their model to ours? That's not to say that rich people don't travel to different countries for certain surgeries. We have some very fine doctors here and I'm sure they get people from all over the world who come for their services but I would take Canada's health care system over ours any day.

Wish you would provide a link when you make blanket statements like this. I would love to read about it.
