You're right about LBJ..I have this thing about him ..He's my favorite president. Yes, I know Vietnam was horrible and the saddest thing is 'he knew it too' ... It took a huge toll on him.. But I just loved the way he was ...I've read NO ONE got things DONE like LBJ DID! AND that he was the greatest ARM TWISTER the US ever had in a President and that it didn't matter which side of the aisle they were on ..;) ..... he knew everything and everybody ! and he knew what 'they' owed him and what 'he' owed them .... and in so many ways it worked out good for the American people .....I wish we had him now ! ...;) And Lady Bird was Wonderful !!! ... ;) such a fine gracious woman .. ;)
