You're not understanding what I am saying. I am not debating that he is honest/dishonest, nor if he benefited from our expense, or even "scammed" us in the end. I am simply saying that Hemi was not a scam. It was not set up to be a scam. It was a legit company with real potential. All of us that rode through those days will attest to that. Even Kels, as openly jaded against KAA as he is, will admit that Hemi was not set up to be a "scam".
A real company with real assets. This almost makes me more upset, because the potential was there. More of the blame falls on mis-management, and the poor handling of bad circumstances that Keith had to deal with. In hind sight, no doubt he could have done a better job.
But no one can ignore the floods and also the drastic collapse of oil prices in 2008/9. Those really hurt this little company. In hindsight, a better handling of these things may have led to a better outcome. But no one here now that was here pre-2008 will buy into Hemi being a scam from the beginning.
