Does Calm Seas Profit by pumping KBLB after a cash/share exchange?
Yes, they do, a little bit, as Ocho noted.
But what several people here have failed to take into account is the impact of Share price on Calm Seas' original grant of Warrents!
Assuming that they have not already exercised them all, which has not been noted by Kim or in the financial reports, Calm Seas owns a LOT of ~zero price warrants. (6,0000,000 / ? - ?).
When the price of the stock went up from <0.01 to >0.15 the worth of those warrants went up by ~1500%
This rise far outweighs any small profits made by selling shares.
Calm Seas holdings value goes up ~ as a direct function of KBLB's PPS. THAT is why they pump KBLB and why they are encouraging investors to stay long. It does not matter if the PPS is erratic or rises smoothly. By the nature of the CS<->KBLB contract, Calm Seas is a LONG. They will not sell off KBLB unless they need some of the money for other uses or they truly believe that KBLB is about to fail. To do otherwise would be counter to their best financial interests!
So Instead of denigrating Calm Seas we should be inviting them to join our community of long investors. (And if we somehow see CS selling the majority of their stock / warrants, - That is the time to get worried about KBLB's future.)
