thats how the absolute priority situation/rule goes...

If it didnt exist you will not have any PREFERRED stock in any company...

the trading community will balk at all Preferred Shares in all companies....

Commons are the last in line of any company and that is a fact...

I hate to repeat this, but the Stock market is not a fair place.
If you want to direct fairness issues then try sending a message to JPM. The retail owners of preferred issues stole or did nothing wrong in this case. I for the life of me can't understand why people are looking for the Preferred holders to make things right.
