I will now add to that as last night i sat down with some great friends and we had Smokey food and a couple of beers. Now the objective of this was of course number one a reason to have a beer with good friends. Second the People i sat down with have as much or more experience then I do if=n food distribution and retail now.
We enjoyed the beef and the chicken and even used the BBQ sauce to create are own pork. They were as impressed at the quality and the taste as much as My wife and I were. We then discussed the opportunities both for Smokey ahead but ways to take the wave to the next level.
Now on the SMKY end we will explore a couple of ideas we have to help them and possibly us along the way. We are not formally working with the company but in all I do I enjoy the ability to help others realize there dreams and use My knowledge of business in that pursuit. We have a few ideas we will be sending to Eddie to allow him to do as he chooses. More importantly we looked at more then this Food Company with stock and have seen an opportunity for us to use are knowledge to help in the food industry of the market that we feel is lacking now.
We will now explore the avenue of consulting to companies on distribution first before worrying about share sales.
I do know it takes capital to get a company started but from many others and not this one I see too many firms only interested in the short time of selling shares and then they go back to there wall street jobs when they are done selling the shares.
I will say this about Eddie he is very focused and has a great company building here now for sure.
He also seems to be on the ball on how he is going to take his dream to reality and svery grounded on how this will be done. I am looking forward to the future here as it seems brighter and brighter the more I research now.
A great product and a great business plan - that's what it's all about here. The kind of company the generation before us would have invested in - back before there was IHUB, charts, level 2, stock awareness... you know, the good ole' days, or so I've told.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - we have something very special here.
