Any action taking in civil court on a judgment against one side or the other, any side can ask for it be sealed for a million reasons. Happens in law suits everyday that go to court. Just cause their sealed means nothing. Everyone here is extremely knowledgeable about the facts, but have never been through a court hearing to the end. Its standard that its always sealed, that way the winner cant self prompted themselves through websites.

Sort of...the depos were delayed ad nauseum by the HFs, and then the opportunity to potentially reach an agreement came along. It didn't happen so now the depos are back on. Not really a shakedown in my opinion, but more like an ultimatum...settle or discovery. The depos will not cost them more millions, so their inflamatory language is laughable and infantile for an attorney to use at this level.
I don't envy the position they are in. Even if it does not lead to an equitable settlement, at best they will likely answer questions that will cast them in a very bad light. When you IT on a daily basis, you really don't want to be in the spot light. F 'em
