It may be a waste of time for you, but it's not for people who want to learn from you. It's not about making mistakes, we all do. And of course a lot of charting is in the eye of the beholder. But you weren't giving me a clear answer to my question!!
Understanding the finer points is how some people become experts, so they can duplicate, explain, and repeat... and handle the dynamic nature of charting because it's never the same twice. You see this as nit picking, I see it as trying to get a logical understandable answer from the guy who teaches.
All you had to say is you wanted more candle touches with your top line, or whatever. Not that top lines use the "closing" prices, as clearly that's not the case because you and everyone else uses candle body top/open all the time on upper trend line creation.
