Richard, The Germans and Japanese had hope of a better future and were assisted in it's realisation. The Palestinian leadership is terrible and denying hope to their people.

Actually we never occupied Japan or Germany by the "occupation" definition. What you are thinking is the end of WWII and reconstruction. Don't see any reconstruction taking place in Palestine. Just destruction.
