Now we here are doing a half-decent job of unearthing and defining the building evil, but can anything stop it, short of an economic collapse???
I think not.
Keep the majority of the herd well fed and in a passable abode and it will not give a damn what evil its' nation's government pursues.
My new signature applies here because this administration is doing war to see that the powers remain well fed and as long as enough dribbles down to passably sustain the significant majority of the herd this majority will ignore the evil.
I would hazard a guess 15% of the world's populace are of greater wisdom and on a plain better than the rest, thinking in high ideals and inner governed eternal truths, i proceed and hazard a guess 15% of the world populace is inherently of deep darkness and be fundamentally evil, leaving 70% that just live and die, hoping for sufficient food and an abode and have deeply embedded a computer chip advising them always "Don't think too much, it is dangerous".
