If it were diamonds do you think they would be questioning its economic viability? JMO. I am really curious as to what it is though!

IMO forget about diamonds. The bottom has fallen out of this market as far as I am concerned. The risk reward factor is not advantageous. Once the company has a bit of cash then maybe yes they can take a punt and bank a river. Gold is Good as you SEE what you get as you go along. Diamonds is usualy a seasonal thing with a density of about 3.5 you dont want a fast flow when you are dredgeing.
Good divers and operators get good pay and if you have trained them you dont want them to leave. Laborors get about $150 a month and food, digging is hard work and all respect to them.
