It is still preliminary data. It is not conclusive. Let us wait for more benchmarks before we condemn. That said, it would not be a shock to anyone but the most ardent AMD devote if AMD did not present a completely truthful picture all these years. If fact, it would be a shock if they did.
What a mediocre processor just like the specs suggested and not even clocking like the speedster it is meant to be !
If this really turns out to be the case I wonder if John Fruehe will have the decency to resign like Henri Richard did after the grossly optimistic picture he painted disintegrated.
