Ah but if the world were not so simple.
Why is it so easy to send endless troops and drones and so difficult to find peace? Why isn't there an unarmed army that is willing to stand between the endless guns? I have been wandering about my middle ages and all I can say is that history is a series of lies perpetrated upon the world by tax collectors. What was so wrong with the kibbutz? In the library today I couldn't find one single book on the Communes or the League of Lombard. Such is the state of the little libraries. Or the University of Bologna, Dante went there.

This conversation today is very interesting and I learned for the first time why it was that so many were pro Stalin, which I did not ever understand.

But my question to you is this, what is so important about the Jews? What is it that has kept these people throughout their history the focus of so much attention? I could recount for you a history from the blood on the doors to the Holocaust that is the persecution of these people and yet here they are. I could recount endless peoples the Etruscans come to mind who went the way of history.

A few Millennium ago they were brought to the land of milk and honey only to find there were already people there. Was that Kurds? A few decades ago they were brought there again and there were peoples there before. My head splits open.

In 1968 I was 17. I drove down to Newark to pick up my sister at the train station. I could see fires in the projects. I am tired of hearing that history is somebody's own damn fault.

9-year old Palestinian Girl Shot Dead

Children shot

"The cabinet meeting came hours after an 11-year-old boy was shot dead on his way home from school in the West Bank town of Tulkarm, according to Palestinian officials.

Witnesses said Abdelkarim Salameh was hit when Israeli troops fired at a group of schoolchildren who were throwing stones.

An Israeli army spokesman said soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas after they were attacked.

Several Palestinian militants have been killed in the past few days
The shooting - in which Palestinians say another 11-year-old boy was injured - comes a day after medical officials said a girl was killed by Israeli firing in the Gaza Strip.

On Sunday, relatives held the funeral for Hanneen Abu Suleiman who was in her home when she was shot, according to reports from the area.

She was taken to a hospital near the Khan Younis refugee camp, but reportedly died two hours later.

A BBC correspondent says there are frequent exchanges of fire in the area between Palestinian fighters and Jewish settlers and Israeli soldiers.

Palestinian sources said Hanneen was killed by shooting from the nearby Jewish settlement of Neve Dekalim."
