Our majors are having a difficult time getting reserves. The high price of gas and oil makes their numbers look a lot better than they deserve. Since the war many producing nations are awarding contracts to almost any county other than the United States. What we have lost, I imagine is hard to figure, only that it must be a substantial amount.

Edifying quote. Which book is this from? I would love to hear Orwell do an analysis of the Kerrycrats ability to think of Kerry as a "peace candidate" while he was saying he wanted to send 40,000 more troops.
