I'd take that article with a big grain of salt, as the authors are clearly biased against Chavez. Their reference to his refusal "to allow free and fair elections" gives them away. He was freely and fairly elected, arguably more so than our own president, and he is under no obligation to call for elections ahead of schedule.

as you can see venezuela supposely has 356.4 tonnes.
the figure released by the military (10 tonnes) is a small portion of that.
where is the balance?
