if the u.s. defaults what happens to the dollar?....money used to flow into the dollar for safety in times like these buTT will that continue if we default and get our credit rating lowered for the first time in history?....or will metals make the parabolic move that i've been reading about for years? hmmmm....interesting times we live in :) (gold charts below)
the gold bullish % index is certainly low enough for a large move upwards in the price of gold
no such thing as a tripple top :) .....this mofo is gonna bust a move to new highs imo
this chart is following the symmetrical pattern except for one thing....the fricken dollar has not marched up as it should....where did that money go? to gold (second chart)
da pointed out the pattern in this weekly chart many moons ago....if this plays out stocks have a lot more downside while the dollar climbs....yikes!!!!
i believe that the u.s. dollar is going to fail miserably and end up worthless in the long run.....every fiat currency in history has done same.....buTT....my buddy da (very fart smeller) tells me to forget all that long term historical >crap< and trade the chart....and i know that he is right again.....so with that in mind i have been looking at the dollar charts this morning....the direction of the dollar should be in the back of everyones mind because it ties all the markets together....stocks, commodities, and everything we trade is influnced by the direction of the dollar....soooo lets try and figure out what happens next....short term....the divergence in the daily macd hints that the dollar has reached a short term top and so i put a (1) on the chart that i think may have started the retrace....i have watched the dollar react to 80 many times in the past and i think it did this time tooo....IF this turns out to be the case then we should be buying pullbacks in equities and commods until the dollar retraces and starts it's next leg up....a move up in $silver to $34 would make for a huge gain in AGQ etc.....so that's my wild ass guess....i will be trying to go long on monday with limit orders slightly below today's close.....stfu gb....IDKS....this is just a wild ass guess.....
I concur with Smallie - Genius Boy, thanks for the charts. How many shares of ACTC did you buy today? hehehehe - there's always a bull market somewhere.
